CargoGuard  –  Cargo Monitoring System

Cargo at Munich Airport – a project partner today, an important customer tomorrow

In the field of international logistics, the cargo sector at Munich Airport is one of BIJO-DATA’s development partners. The combination of highly specialized air cargo logistics and BIJO-DATA’s localisation and identification technologies lead to solutions which can be used worldwide.

This cooperation is a further example of how we find high-quality skills elsewhere, which we may not have at our company. This helps us to offer a product in conjunction with an air freight specialist, which can certainly also be deployed in the best possible way by other air freight companies. Intelligent interfacing technologies ensure that the CargoGuard system works optimally together with the existing air cargo system and the GUIs available there (graphical user interface).

Why does air freight disappear on the way from the airplane to the forwarding agent?

Professionals know that more items are transported as air cargo nowadays than ever imagined years ago. The handling of this cargo, which often consists of expensive, dangerous, urgent and special objects, is clearly regulated and monitored by the crew. There are rules, too, governing the route from the plane to the forwarding agent’s loading ramps. This process has varying weak points which can lead to undesired delays. Intelligent goods localisation and identification puts an end to all that.
