Nowadays, safety in large infrastructures such as power plants, industrial companies, harbours and airports can only be guaranteed by using modern technology. In this context, ‘safety’ represents security in general or the security of a facility. It is important to ensure that the purpose of an infrastructure can simultaneously be fulfilled, both economically and free of risks.

In doing this, ‘safety’ attends to the optimal deployment of security personnel and the prevention of any risk to the user’s physical health and safety.
